ECOFLARE – IGNITING CHANGE, CLEANING COMMUNITIES

Project ECOFLARE is more than just a cleaning drive; it is a call to civic pride and collective responsibility. Volunteers work hand in hand, showing that fashion, youth energy, and social service can coexist, creating meaningful impact while inspiring others to act.

A Cleaner Kozhikode, A Kinder Tomorrow

“True style isn’t just in how you look, but in the impact you leave on the world.”

In an extraordinary demonstration of youth-driven social responsibility, Cahoots International Foundation, a vibrant community of fashion-forward and socially conscious young individuals, launched Project ECOFLARE as part of their mission to create a “Clean and Safe Kozhikode.” On August 15, the group took to the city’s beaches, dedicating their energy, creativity, and care to cleaning the shoreline and its surroundings, turning public spaces into safer, more welcoming areas for everyone.

The initiative reflects Cahoots’ core philosophy: living for others through acts of charity, service, and community engagement. Despite their funky, stylish appearances, the members prove that true worth lies in deeds, not a message championed by founder Amal DZ, who encourages society to value people for their actions, not their appearances. “Don’t underestimate the true person behind the curly, funky, stylish looks,” he said, emphasising the blend of creativity and purpose that defines Cahoots.

Project ECOFLARE is more than just a cleaning drive; it is a call to civic pride and collective responsibility. Volunteers work hand in hand, showing that fashion, youth energy, and social service can coexist, creating meaningful impact while inspiring others to act. The team’s next mission is set to expand to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital, aiming to convert it into a clean, safe, and dignified zone for patients, staff, and visitors alike.

Through this initiative, Cahoots invites others to join their movement: brothers and sisters alike, united in making the city cleaner, safer, and more compassionate. The effort demonstrates that age is no barrier, style is no limit, and youth can drive change that touches every corner of society.

“Impact is measured not by what you wear, but by the lives you touch, the spaces you heal, and the legacy you leave behind.”
