ECHOES OF FREEDOM – HONOURING LIVES, CELEBRATING FREEDOM
Through Project Echoes of Freedom, Cahoots reminded everyone that true independence is standing beside those who paved the way, and ensuring their lives are celebrated with dignity, care, and love.
Celebrating Freedom with Those Who Lived Its Spirit
“Freedom is not just a moment in history, it’s the love, care, and connection we share today.”
This Independence Day, Cahoots International Foundation celebrated freedom with a heart at Sneha Bhavan Old Age Home, Missionaries of Charity (Mother Teresa’s Sisters), Westhill, honouring the elders who have witnessed the journey of a free India.
The celebration featured a flag hoisting ceremony, patriotic songs, cultural performances, and heartfelt conversations with the residents. Volunteers listened to their stories, shared laughter, and reflected on the meaning of freedom not just as a nation, but in relationships, memories, and human connections.
Through Project Echoes of Freedom, Cahoots reminded everyone that true independence is standing beside those who paved the way, and ensuring their lives are celebrated with dignity, care, and love.
