Overview
Every child deserves the opportunity to feel confident, valued, and empowered. Yet, many children growing up in institutional care often face emotional challenges that extend beyond their basic needs. Limited opportunities for self-expression, low self-esteem, social barriers, and the absence of personalized care can quietly affect their confidence and aspirations.
To address these challenges and create a large-scale impact, Cahoots International Foundation proudly launched MEGA AWAKENING SUMMIT – Chapter 1, one of its most ambitious child empowerment and transformation initiatives. Designed as a landmark movement of confidence-building and emotional empowerment, the summit focused on grooming, personality enhancement, self-care awareness, and holistic transformation for approximately 250 childrenresiding in care institutions.
Hosted at Edu Orphanage, Calicut, the initiative was envisioned as more than a grooming event. It became a celebration of self-worth, confidence, dignity, and possibility. Through professional grooming experiences, motivational engagement, confidence-building activities, and meaningful human interaction, the summit empowered children to see themselves not through the lens of their circumstances, but through the limitless potential they carry within.
The summit brought together social leaders, volunteers, wellness professionals, and youth changemakers under a shared vision: to awaken confidence, nurture aspirations, and create lasting positive memories for children who deserve every opportunity to thrive.
A key partner in this transformative journey was Squirr Saloon and Spa, founded by Mr. Navaneeth M Nair and Shijin Kishore, whose professional team led a large-scale grooming and transformation experience. Their dedication ensured that every child experienced personal attention, care, and encouragement, helping them feel confident, appreciated, and celebrated.
Conducted in association with Rotaract International, under the leadership of DRR Jophin George, the summit was meticulously coordinated by Event Admin Athul DC and Event Manager Keerthi Shanmugan. The sustainability and long-term impact framework of the initiative was guided by Sustainability Program Officer Anusree, while the inspiring moments of transformation, joy, and confidence were documented by Mithul Rag.
More than an event, MEGA AWAKENING SUMMIT – Chapter 1 became a powerful movement proving that when communities unite to invest in children’s confidence and emotional well-being, extraordinary transformations become possible.

Mass Grooming & Transformation Experience – Confidence Through Care
The signature element of the summit was a large-scale grooming and transformation initiative benefiting nearly 250 children. Led by the expert team from Squirr Saloon and Spa, the experience included professional grooming, personal care guidance, styling support, and confidence-enhancing interactions.
For many participants, it was their first experience receiving personalized grooming attention. Beyond appearance, these moments helped cultivate self-respect, confidence, and a renewed sense of identity.
Emotional Wellness & Positive Reinforcement – Nurturing the Inner Self
True transformation extends beyond physical appearance. Through positive interactions, encouragement, mentoring, and emotional engagement, volunteers helped create an environment where children felt valued, heard, and supported.
The summit focused on reinforcing self-belief and helping children recognize their strengths, talents, and potential.
