Thira – Empowering Lives with Dignity
Thira is a compassionate initiative aimed at supporting individuals affected by AIDS and HIV by helping them lead independent and dignified lives through small-scale business ventures. The campaign focuses on economic empowerment, skill development, and community integration.
Many affected individuals face social stigma, discrimination, and financial instability. Thira seeks to transform their lives by providing training, resources, and mentorship to start or grow small businesses such as tailoring, food processing, handicrafts, retail stalls, and more.
The initiative promotes self-sufficiency and confidence among participants, allowing them to earn a stable income, support their families, and gain respect within their communities. Thira also works to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and create inclusive spaces where affected individuals are valued and supported.
